Danielle and Cartez first met online, where what started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something meaningful. She of course accepted.For their first date, Cartez invited Danielle to his favorite restaurant, Jordyn's Cafe. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was incredible, and the conversation flowed effortlessly. They talked, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company for hours.During that day, Cartez learned something important about Danielle, she could really eat. Instead of being surprised, he was impressed. Anyone who could appreciate great food and meaningful conversation was someone special.Danielle loves to remind Cartez that the moment he first saw her, he was already locked in. In fact, he was so excited that he was ready to take her out on another date the evening of the very same day.As they continued dating, their connection only grew stronger. They spent more time learning about each other, sharing stories about their lives, and building a friendship that slowly turned into love.Right before Christmas, they went to see Jagged Edge perform. That night felt magical. The music, the energy, and the moment itself felt like something out of a movie. After the concert, they stayed up talking until the sun came up.During those late night conversations, Cartez learned that Danielle loved Swishahouse old-school hip hop. They bonded over classic R&amp;B songs, talking about life, their dreams, and their goals for the future.Somewhere between the music, the laughter, and those quiet hours before sunrise, something beautiful happened. Their connection deepened into love, and that was the moment they truly became a couple.With a smile and the confidence of a man who knew exactly what he had found, Cartez told Danielle, “You mine now.” Danielle responded by saying, "what does that mean?"Over the next few months, their love continued to grow stronger and stronger. Our Story

The Heights Villas is located in Houston Heights, one of the city’s oldest and most historic areas. Originally flourishing with Victorian homes, craftsman bungalows, and tree-lined streets, the area has carefully preserved its historic charm while evolving into a vibrant area filled with eclectic shops, great restaurants, and lively cultural hubs.Danielle and Cartez chose The Heights Villas not only for its architectural elegance but also for its profound spiritual and historical significance. The venue was once a Baptist church, serving as a center of faith and community for generations. Today, the church’s original steeple still rises above the venue, a graceful reminder of God’s enduring presence. For Danielle and Cartez, both devoted Christians, this historic and sacred connection made The Heights Villas the perfect setting to celebrate their union; a space where their love, faith in God, and respect for history could come together in a meaningful and unforgettable way.
